The general consensus is that boy king!in-training Sam is the true power and that his “consort” Dean is nothing more then a cowed pretty pet. When Sam is kidnapped by angelic forces/rogue demons, Dean goes after him. Dean doesn’t care that Sam’s demonic lieutenants laugh at him behind his back, and to his face, about his chances of success - they seemed to have forgotten the Dean was one of the most badass hunters to ever to the job, Dean is looking forward to reminding people as he goes to get his Sammy back.
I would love at least one scene where Sam licks the blood of Dean’s vanquished foes off of him while thanking him for the rescue
